KapitanGopnik 58 Report post Posted July 19, 2017 Hey all, just wondering what everyone's been up to. Low numbers of players on the server lately, but I know a number of folks are still playing the game... so what's up? Is there anything we can do to get some people back, or possibly get some newcomers?
Stark 10 Report post Posted July 28, 2017 I was thinking the same thing kapt! maybe promote the server on social media or go under the reviews of 7d2d and leave one promoting the server? not sure if it would work just a quick idea I'm wondering if its the popularity of 7d2d not our server that caused not as many players to be on A16 was a big update I was surprised when not that many people were playing after the update
DJ 186 Report post Posted July 28, 2017 Would anybody want to help run the Facebook and Twitter pages for Redhatgamers to help promote it? I also used to add the server to a server list site just for 7daystodie and it seemed to help in the past.

Bigmeteu 25 Report post Posted August 5, 2017 so not saying get rid of gates etc... just asking, is having us listed on the modded section making it harder for us to reach the mainstream audience?

It's possible however I have received some reports that the server doesn't even show up in the public list for some people. Also the only game mod that was requested for the server was to not drop bag and tool belt on death, so I removed it and the server is now back in the un-modded list. Lets make RHG Servers great again! lol
DJ 186 Report post Posted August 19, 2017 I think it may simply be from having a lack of interest in this early access game, as to why there are so few players anymore. Occasionally, I would visit my steam account and check out the community hub for 7 days to die, and the total in-game has very low numbers lately, compared to what it used to be when the servers where always full. These are just rough observations, but during its peak I noticed 45K+ players during most of the day and now the average seems to be about 12k every day. Kortanul 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2017 Tbh I haven't played in a while now either, largely because it's always disappointing to dig for three hours and not see my favorite mod to pester--Bad--log in. Just isn't the same! I'll be back at it soon enough, still have builds I wanna get to work on, but I'm taking the time to focus on clearing my backlogs finally.
