CrypticGirl 8 Report post Posted May 11, 2016 So...I joined the RHG PVE1 server, maybe...three or four weeks ago? And the days were in the 500's. And my understanding is that the server starts lagging badly when it nears 1000 days, to the point where it becomes nearly unplayable, leading to a server wipe. So it took perhaps a month and a half for those days to pass. To me, that doesn't seem very long, and all the work we put into our bases would go to waste. So I had the idea of perhaps increasing the time length of the 24 hours in-game cycles. It would give us more time to work on our bases. I can also see the downside of this as well, with the longer nights. I personally cower in the corner of my base at night and hope that the zombies don't come breaking down my walls. But I have seen players who are braver and more adventurous, either chugging along with their bases, or even zombie hunting. Anyway, it's just an idea I had in mind, and I was curious as to what others thought of it. It won't be a huge deal if they decide to leave it as is.
KapitanGopnik 58 Report post Posted May 16, 2016 That actually sounds like a neat idea to me. It'll considerably slow down how often loot will respawn, but could also give people longer to do what they want to do, either at day or at night.
CrypticGirl 8 Report post Posted May 16, 2016 Well, they could possibly decrease the loot respawn time to counter that. I don't remember all the options besides 5 days and 30 days, but maybe somewhere in between?
Scarecrow 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2016 I like the idea. Hiding isn't that hard and there is the option to jump to spawn if things get too sketchy. Plus, longer time to mine since I prefer to loot during the day and mine at night.
