Hello everyone, I am currently struggling with paying for the servers this month due to personal expenses. My utility bill this month has jumped up to $190 for electricity and I currently pay $90 for internet every month. I usually don't ask for much and am happy to pay any extra expenses that may occur every month, however this month its going to be tougher for me to do that. Furthermore, I am currently setting up a server control panel that will enable members of our community to be able to connect with our server rack via web browser to operate our game servers as well as launch 100s of additional new game servers for our community to play on. Lots of exciting new additions are coming soon for our community. If everyone could help pitch in at least one dollar, we could afford to keep our servers going for several more months. Please help keep Red Hat Gamers funded and available by donating today. All donations are greatly appreciated! Support us by Donating! Support us by Shopping on Amazon!

Recently the server had crashed again due to a known memory leak with 7 Days To Die and a simple restart was needed to fix this. Furthermore, if anybody is curious to know more about this memory leak problem, then here are some chat logs from a discussion I had with a gameservers.com representative when our server kept crashing. I am also currently in the process of setting up something on our new dedicated server to help prevent this from happening again. Also you may be able to learn more about this at 7daystodie.com. Posted 05/07/16 5:36am - Jake Are you sure that no changes or additions have been made to the server prior to the start of the crashes? I am currently seeing a number of crashing instances as a result of a memory limit enforced on the server. The 7daystodie server software has a history of memory leaks that would cause the instance to utilize all of the available memory on the machine. We have enforced a memory limit for the 7daystodie subscriptions to avoid such incidents. With indication that this is occurring for your subscription there may be conflicts or events in the server that are causing an abnormally high memory load, or triggering a memory leak. Posted 05/24/16 1:18pm - Zachary Hello, The issue at this time is due to a memory leak in the Unity game engine, used to make 7 days to die. We have increased the memory limit on your subscription by 50%, however, we will not be able to increase this further. Crashes will still occur when this limit is reached, and there is no way around this unfortunately. The Unity engine development team will need to address the memory leak issue in order to permanently resolve this problem. Thanks,

I am currently rendering the map on the new server to help speed up the loading times for the server. This shouldn't take very long to complete and as usual I will post when it has finished. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Best Regards.

7 Days To Die has been released from its experimental version and is now in a more stable version. Therefore, the server has been updated to the latest stable build. Also since we don't have a budget to pay this months server rental bill, we are going to move the server to our servers until further notice. I will wait a few hours before the transfer if anybody would like to help support us and pay for this months bill, otherwise our in-house server will be ready to go at a moments notice. Thank you for choosing us for all your zombie killing needs.

If you are curious as to why commands that you are used to using in alpha 14.7 are down and not working, then this post is for you! This question seems to get asked a lot and the reason for this is the server mod that we use that enables those commands such as /sethome, is currently out of date. This server mod wont be updated by its developer until alpha 15 is officially released and is out of its experimental stage. The most commonly used commands that aren't available at this time is: /sethome /home /zgate /zgate create someplace /zgate visit someplace /zgate delete someplace /zgate list /wallet /money /spawn /day7 /zombies /grablcb /location /who /gimme /gimmie /cure research /cure release /shop Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused and thank you for your continued support.

Alpha 15 will have lots of exciting new content and more prefab buildings as well as better landscapes, etc, so as such we are planning on wiping our servers for this next major release. There isn't an exact date when version alpha 15 will be released for 7 Days To Die, but in the meantime you can keep up with current development updates by visiting the Fun Pimps Blog at http://joelhuenink.tumblr.com/.

Every once in awhile, we decide to have some fun on our servers and we would spawn in mega hordes of zombies for players to kill. These are a lot of fun and we usually provide ammo and guns for players to make these events last longer. Here are several screenshots of these events and most of these are from previous worlds. These screenshots may also bring back a lot of fun memories for players. If you would like to be part of one of these events let us know.

We need your help and support to keep this community available and running. We are 100% independent and are not looking to gain any profit from our community. We also volunteer our time everyday (without pay) to keep this gaming community up and running as well as fixing any problems that may occur from time time with our servers. We do all of this out of our passion for playing video games as a past time, and for all the new experiences that can be gained. Donations and purchasing reserved slots, goes towards our monthly costs of running our servers, website, and admin tools only, as well as for adding any additional servers. Our current monthly overall expenses for the month of June is $223. Please make a small donation today to help support our small community of gamers. We appreciate all donations! Donation Goals Red Hat Gamers - June 2016 $180 out of $180- Goal has been met. We are always open to discuss new ideas and improvements as well as receive any feedback from our servers that you may have. Please share your thoughts and ideas for any of our game servers by posting them under Ideas and Feedback in our forums.

Anybody that harasses and treats the RedHatGamers.com Owners as well as The Entire RHG Team, poorly and shows resentment towards us for getting banned or demoted, will result in a lifetime ban from our servers / website and they will never be revoked! All other bans will have a maximum of a 6 month period and can be appealed at anytime by going through our ban appeal process by clicking Here. Asking any of our staff members to be un-banned or even asking about the status of your ban appeal will result in your ban appeal getting denied and you will not be able to apply for another ban appeal again in the future.
