  1. Hello everyone, I am debating about whether or not I should setup a community run server where specific members will be able to have private access to it to setup new game servers for the community to play on. This will be done via remote desktop connection to an undeveloped server where they will be able to setup new games for the community such as Arma 3, Rust, Minecraft, and basically any other game you can think of. Only new game servers will be allowed to be added to the community server, like the ones we currently are not hosting and will move to an official server if it starts to pick up, where it will then become a Red Hat Gamers Hosted Game Server. Like I said, this is just something I was thinking about setting up for the community and things may change but if you support this idea, let me know by taking the poll. Thank you.
  2. These are the goals I am wanting to achieve in 2017 for the Red Hat Gamers Community. 1. Get a better Internet Service Provider that is more stable and more reliable. 2. Host additional game servers for a variety of different games.

  10. Today the server had crashed due to a known memory leak with the unity 3d game engine that 7 days to die is being developed on. I'm not sure if this has been fixed or not but this had resulted in a forced server restart and was unable to save the world at that time due to this bug (if it did save, it would most likely have also saved the bug). This game is early access and is still under development so bugs, glitches and wipes are just the nature of the beast. If this ever happens and someones base that they have been working on for such a long time has some sort of problem like with stability, let an admin know or post in the forums. An admin or I, will rebuild or give to you what was lost due to bugs that have occurred, such as buildings collapsing or items disappearing, etc. Best regards and thank you for choosing us for all your zombie killing needs.
  11. A player most likely had recently started to blow up building and structures for fun which resulted in the server locking up. This resulted in players not being able to connect to the server since it had froze up so TNT + Dynamite will be temporarily banned until further notice. Server needed to be restarted to fix. Best regards.
  12. We have recently upgraded our server to a dedicated hosting solution and it has been a success. We have managed to lower load times and now have a much smoother game play. Now we would like to increase server performance even farther to reduce additional lag by upgrading to SSD Hard Drives. Depending on how much money we can bring in on this fundraiser will depend on what we upgrade to, but we would like to upgrade to an SDD with lots of memory so that we have room to grow. An SSD Hard Drive can run up to 15 times faster than a standard hard drive and Increase user productivity and cut time spent on everyday tasks at impressive speeds. Here is an example SSD that we have in mind for this upgrade: Kingston SSDNow KC400 SKC400S3B7A/1T 2.5" 1TB SATA III Business Solid State Disk. Help us reach our goal of $160 by donating today. Any amount left over will go towards next months expenses. Click here to make a small donation and help out our community. Donations are always appreciated but never required. Donators also receive perks for their donations.
