All right for those of you that have participated in the Horde night challenge, what changes would you like to see made? What prizes are the best motivators? For those that don't know the horde night challenge is a survival challenge we do. No Uber base that can never be penetrated, we select a random location. The idea is that you are a group of survivors out exploring when The Horde comes you only have a little bit of time to find an abandoned building and get it ready. We select the location and depending on the level of difficulty based on the level of players that are on give a few hours in game time to get the building ready to repel an invasion. The more players in a location the bigger than the Horde that attacks. We give out bonuses and prizes for teamwork, kill count, creativity, and rhg spirit etc. We also hold themed nights .... where are we might say no machine guns or archery only ect. We are planning to hold one Friday night for those that want to log on and put themselves to the test. Let us know what you would like to see in the next challenge

If the server is not caught up to A16 113 then you can't get in until rage updates it -

So I was talking to a couple of the red hat Gamers about taking on a new project that would require a team effort... reclaiming Hub City Rebuild the buildings plant new grass new Gardens and make it a real city again. It will take a lot of time, but could be a cool project when done. Anyone interested?

Awesome idea. Try and keep it as close to the original look as possible use the first couple blocks as inspiration.. although have fun with the inside and with the project as a whole it doesn't have to be cookie cutter but it's not about making each property the ultimate Uber zombie resistant Fortress. We're trying to make it look like the city was before the disaster. no Spikes no trenches etc. Feel free to share ideas and exchange possible build themes on this board

Rock on. Everything helps. 24 city blocks...but... Many hands make light work.

Got a good start last night. The more helping the better. There are 24 blocks, we got one done. Added a park, some reflecting pools and restored 2 large buildings. If players are looking to help when we stark and I aren't on, they can continue where we left off removing destroyed stone and debris. For the buildings, damaged blocks and boarded Windows need to come out before we can begin refurbishment. Thanks RHG community for coming together on this. You guys rock.

Today we converted a military outpost into a player safe location. No loot was touched. its designed as a safe place to play and scout out from. Enjoy it, share it, Location 6520 N by 6052 W Enjoy

Sweet... Over time, we can terraform the city back to a happy place. Thinking of starting in the sw corner and radiating out from there.

The base now includes an emergency tunnel that serves as an escape route that comes up in a local church... Also creating barrier Zone Within the complex so that if the walls are breached the zombies are contained to one area instead of having free run of the base. This will allow us to deal with threats in an organized fashion and push back against a total base loss/ foothold situation.

I like the mods a lot... The negative I see looking into it is that everyone will have to install the mods locally too. That's going to cost us quite a few players, and may discourage future players. From a recruiting standpoint it comes across as disenfranchising both potential members and some members that don't like modding games. If there was an expansion that could allow the server to be modded and allow the players to come and go with the most recent version of the game that would be ideal
