Since the server has been crashing recently, we have decided to lower the player limit to 16 slots until further notice. This will allow the server to utilize more ram during major events such as mines collapsing and TNT usage. The server is able to run smooth at 26 players or so, however there is very little ram left over during peak times which results in frequent crashes. By lowering this limit it will create a more smoother game play and will help to eliminate lag. This new setting will be applied during the next server restart. We will plan to upgrade the servers ram within the next month or two from 8gb to at least 16gb, so that we will be able to raise this new player limit that has been set. Best Regards. Alpha 15 will have lots of exciting new content and more prefab buildings as well as better landscapes, etc, so as such we are planning on wiping our servers for this next major release. There isn't an exact date when version alpha 15 will be released for 7 Days To Die, but in the meantime you can keep up with current development updates by visiting the Fun Pimps Blog at http://joelhuenink.tumblr.com/.

I have created this thread for anybody that is having troubles with connecting to the server and for any other server related problems. This includes server updates and server manager problems also. I am looking for feedback on if we should start wiping our 7 days to die (PVE) servers on the 1st of every month, beginning on December 1st of 2017. This will help to keep the server free of bugs (for the most part), and give more of a schedule of when a wipe will occur. This will also make the server more enjoyable since there will be fewer bugs, as well as making it harder to have an endgame status. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

I would like to present our new arena that I have built on our PVE server today for players to be able to fight zombies for various prizes and coins. If anybody is interested in having fun and games at the new arena, first make sure an admin is online to be able to spawn zombies for you, then just enter the /arena command in the chat to teleport there. Its built to withstand the most intense zombie hordes that we can throw at it for you. Lets make RHG servers fun again!

Today I had applied some much needed optimizations for our game servers, as well as improvements with our forum hosting. These recently applied low latency settings are hardware based and will help create smoother game play, as well as lowering your ping. We are always looking for ways to improve our servers for the better and will do our best to apply any new improvements that we may find. The next major improvement will be upgrading our internet to a bigger plan, which we are planning on doing someday. Any further suggestions that you may have for server improvements, please comment below.

If you ever find yourself going out for a late night swim on a Saturday, be prepared by remembering to use this command when a possible game bug may occur: "/drowning". This command will cure and fix your character from that inconvenient bug of drowning when you have recently left a water source and are on solid ground, out in the open air. I hope this will help out any players that may suffer from this game bug and hopefully it will also create a more enjoyable early access gaming experience. New command to fix in-game drowning on land bug: "/drowning".

Happy Easter everyone! We were gone for the holidays and was unable to maintain our site but we were still able to update our server to the latest version of alpha 14 for 7 days to die. We had to borrow a computer to make this happen but we are glad we didn't waste any time doing so. We are excited to roll out with a new version (alpha 14) of this game for our server that has less bugs and glitches (if any :D) for our community. This game gets closer and closer to being a completed product and we are excited to build our community off this amazing game. We hope you are as excited as we are! Those of you that have lost so much from the last world, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Good luck survivors in this brave new world!

We are currently looking for additional funding to transfer our game servers over to a more professional and more improved game server. This will cost more per month but it will be totally worth it since the server wont have anything else on it but just one game server. This will also result in a more smoother and more stable game-play as well as better stability since it wont have any usage limits enforced on the server since we will have 100% control over it. Also we can always upgrade the server if we ever needed to without reaching its max limits unlike with our current shared hosting providers. This will raise our monthly expense goals from $50 for just one 7 days to die server with limited resources (40 players max with lots of random reboots and crashes) to about $130 a month, for an unlimited, dedicated, and stable game server with lots of room to upgrade if needed. If you support this idea and want to make this into a reality, we will gladly make the upgrade sometime this month or possibly sometime closer to when alpha 15 comes out for 7 days to die. Dedicated Game Server Specs: 2 GB Ram 512 GB Storage Unlimited Bandwidth Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1220 v3 @ 3.10GHz This will result in shutting down two of our 7 days to die game servers since they wouldn't be needed anymore (PVE, PVE 2). Futhermore, we most likely will keep the PVP game server with 7 days to die available for now until we decide to upgrade that at a later date.

Our community had been down this past week for major network upgrades on our systems. We had upgraded our network from a Netgear router to a Cisco business router with an added firewall appliance. We are now finished with the upgrades and our community is back online. This upgrade will boost our network to a maximum of 1 GB of throughput and will result in smoother game play and less lag, as well as an added layer of defense from any DDOS attacks. Our forums also had to go offline during this upgrade and we are happy that it is now online again. Sorry for any inconveniences that this may have caused, with the extended downtime and connection issues that are now fixed. Best regards.

A week ago on 12/11, I came across a minibike bug that had resulted in locking up and freezing our 7 Days To Die server. This particular bug was the result of a minibike that had glitched into the ground. I have included the errors that appeared in the server logs, below. The solution to fixing this was to restart the server and by doing so, the mini bike was purged. I then was able to login afterwards, thankfully. It will be nice when minibikes are allowed again and wont cause so many problems. Therefore in the meantime, please remember to follow the rules and not build any minibikes, until further notice. I am currently in the process of upgrading the server to a dedicated hosting solution. I will back up the world and upload it to the new server so you can continue where you left off. The current server will be offline during this process and will finish the moment I am able to backup and upload these files. I will post when I have finished this transition. We are wanting to have a Player Vs Player (PVP) Team Battle event for a short time on a different server other than our Player Vs Environment (PVE) one. This event is in the making and the wining team will take all. We will give zcoin prizes to our PVE Server players that they can spend on our pve server. If you are interested in signing up for this event please reply to this post and let us know. We will continue to update this post as we get closer to launching this event which is currently has an undecided launch date.

I have made a few changes to our 7 days to die game servers and added a few things. 1. The server on port 26900 will be renamed to Main PvE during its next restart and new items have been added to /gimme. Auto ban rules have be re-enabled and will only kick out players. Tthese rules are as follows: 2. The PvP server on port 26910, has been renamed to Blood Moon and I setup Envul with /gimme commands, map, etc. Also added PVP type of items to /gimme, such as: military clothes, armor, mines, ammo, explosives, etc. 3. The pve server on port 26920, will be renamed to Horde Nights and will have similar gameplay and settings as our Main Pve server. 4. I have decided to shutdown the server on port 26930, due to lack of players. 5. Furthermore, Links have been added to view the server maps in our 7 days to die forums by clicking here. We have updated our server to a Random Gen and since this game is starting to be more like a complete game, we aren't planning on doing anymore full server wipes. We have decided to delete regions that are buggy or out of date until the server is updated for the latest release such as alpha15, alpha16. Hopefully this will work as planned and if so, we wont have to do a complete server wipe anymore and force players to start over from scratch. Furthermore to keep loot fresh we will delete regions near the center of the map to keep those locations fresh. We haven't decided how far from center we will be deleting but we will try to delete it regularly so remember to build your base far out from the center of the map. Best Regards.
