We disabled the map at redhatgamers.envul.com only to find out that the map feature itself was not a significant factor for causing the lag recently. Therefore the envul map is now online again, and is ready for you to track other players... I mean ready for you to track zombies... well whatever you end up deciding to use it for, its available for you to use again.

On our PVE server before the wipe, we had teleport commands for traders that could teleport players directly to trader locations by using, /trader1, trader2, etc. I wasn't planning on re-adding that custom feature to the server this time around but since it seemed to be a useful feature, should we re-add them to our PVE server for 7 days to die?

Our 7 days to die game servers are currently undergoing updates to alpha 16.4 and will be offline until it is completed. This shouldn’t take much longer and I will post when it has completed. Regards.

We have decided to keep our PVE server as vanilla with most of the default settings to keep it as an unmodified server and to keep the server as it was meant to be played by the Fun Pimps. These settings and some others can still be changed without modifying the server: max animals, max zombies, server difficulty, etc. However with our second server PVE 2, we are wanting to modify it and change the settings such as: daylight length, spawn rate, etc. since these settings will make the server become modified. With it being a modified server, we can create custom in game content by modifying the xml files, maximize the difficulty, and we will be able to change most aspects of the game. We are also planning on changing our PVE 2 server into a PVP server so that way we can have both types of servers available. We will make this change to a PVP server during the next major release or unless it absolutely needs a world wipe due to bugs, etc.

Im currently rendering the map for our PVE server and I will post when it has finished. Sorry for any inconveniences that this may have caused. We do this to help speed up our server and to prevent lag.

The internet occasionally disconnects with the dedicated server, most likely due to the servers physical location. I could go into more details about it but it could go on and on. Having that said, I am considering moving the 7 Days To Die Server to a shared host with the same exact world as it is currently and using the server to start up additional game servers instead. By doing this it could help get new and different game servers up and going with very little upfront cost after internet and utilities. The shared host will run just as good as the dedicated server for 7 Days To Die, with the added benefit of reliability for the most part. Admins will also be able to restart the server on their own, if they ever need to do so. This game is early access so problems with the game will still occur regardless of what it is hosted on. I will be able to add several, low populated game servers on the dedicated server to be able to grow the community faster with little cost. If you support this idea, take our poll and suggest a new game server that you would like us to add to our server list and by doing so we may add it. Best Regards.

I recently built a pyramid for the server, which I shall call The Temple Of Rage. I will work on it more later but this temple is located in the NW desert. Rage Temple was inspired by the Temple of Kukulcan, also known as El Castillo, which is a Mesoamerican step-pyramid that dominates the center of the Chichen Itza archaeological site in the Mexican state of Yucatan. *** UPDATE *** Here is what I have added so far, I might add something to the inside. Due to unforeseen circumstances the world as we knew is gone and got wiped. There wasn't a save file with alpha 16 (experimental) version during its initial setup and the restart today had resulted in a wipe. I apologize for this, however on the bright side we now have a save file (thankfully) to prevent problems like this, as well as admin permissions again. Again I apologize for this inconvenience and I hope everyone has a great day.

I recently made a few optimizations with the server to help improve load times and lower lag for our 7 days to die game server.

7 Days To Die - alpha 16 - experimental. To prevent zombies from spawning in an area, such as in prefab buildings, simply place down a bedroll and by doing so zombies wont spawn within the default bedroll dead zone size of 15 blocks by 15 blocks.

7daystodie Our pve server crashed this morning and resulted in bugs.

Our server on port 26900, had crashed this morning and resulted in a game bug where random parts of the world disappeared and was regenerated. We currently do not know how many areas have been effected by this but we do know that a few have been. Due to these unforeseen circumstances that was out of our control, anybody that had their base being affected by this can receive items from admins to help them rebuild. Sorry for any inconveniences that this may have caused. -
Its now updated. Let me know if we should do a server wipe or not.

I am wanting feedback on if I should renew the Envul.com licenses for the server or not. I personally don't think its worth renewing each month but renewing it does have its benefits. By doing so would result in not having renewal messages being spammed in the chat every now and then, as well as enable the use of the /who command, and will also enable custom server commands as well. It seems like the costs at $6.99 a month for a monthly license, (or $60 for a year license), may outweigh the benefits but let me know what you think I should do.

I'm glad it was taken care of. Yeah I may have to ban jeeps / trucks from the server just to help improve server stability cause it seems to cause more problems than it should due to bugs of some sort. I will make a post if I do decide to ban them. Regards.

Yeah this game can be unpredictable at times, I'm not sure what can be done to fix it. However I can just spawn you a new truck instead.
