We recently added a Super Secret Supporter Forum that will be only available to those with Supporter Accounts. Furthermore, we have also added an Admin Only Forum as well for Server Admins to discuss about anything and everything game server related.

Today a player decided to drain a lake into a giant hole. This game at its current state (laggy and unoptimized)is unable to process water falling down into a deep hole and will result in low frames per second as well as choppy game-play. This is why the server is nearly unplayable today and I am in the process of fixing this as soon as possible.

The server is all fixed now and is back to normal again.

Here's how to opt in and play the latest experimental branch. Open your steam client. Click on Games/View Games Library Right click ‘7 Days to Die’ and select properties From the new popup dialogue box select the ‘BETAS’ Tab Under ‘Select the beta you would like to opt into’ latest_experimental The game will then update and download the latest experimental build Alpha 15 Experimental Switching back to the latest main stable build is as easy as repeating steps 1-4 and on step 4 choose the option ‘None – Opt out of all Beta Programs’ and you’ll revert to the latest stable build

Since Alpha 15 may or may not be released anytime soon (The joys of an early access games I guess), I am going to wipe the world and start over fresh, since most players are already settled and maxed out with their stats (Trillions of Zcoins... haha). If you would like to keep the old server up and running let me know. Also im gonna shutdown the other servers to tighten up the budget.

Its open for discussion, however the stable version may be a better option. As such, players wont have to worry about any possible game breaking bugs and errors, that may result in several server wipes within a short period of time.

To delete your old map data on windows, go into your \AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\SavesLocal\Random Gen\rhgpve\Player folder and delete the .map file. This will delete your out-dated map data and will automatically create a fresh and updated map for you the next time you login to our server. If you have any further question, comment below.

It is entirely optional, however it will delete the old map data so it wont load bases and locations that are no longer there since that world / map got deleted.

New 7 Days To Die Game Server is now online (Red Hat Gamers - PVE) and can be found at ip: 72.46.130.170 , port: 25000. We have also removed our other 7 Days To Die game servers from our old providers and they are no longer available. We did this to help tighten up our monthly budget. This new game server provider seems to be very promising for this early access game right now, complete with a stable service, automated restarts, sub accounts for start/stop/restarting the server, and more. I have noticed that when a major update occurs such as an update of alpha 14 to 15, identical seeds will create newly generated worlds for players to explore. This occurs from updates and changes that have been improved upon from the previous version.

The server has the same seed / map but it is located on a different server.

All the top pictures were from today, while the ones that have 1k plus days were from the old server / old world. I take pictures every now and then when I play.

Awesome, custom pc's are the way to go, I built myself one. The new settings seem to be more balanced but I am still tweaking them to get them ready for a15. Let me know if they need to be re-adjusted.

Im trying to add a challenge factor to the server to help keep it from getting boring since its all about the long term, however if you feel like its too steep I could scale it down a bit?

There isn't really a story behind the title however, the brand meaning seems to be taking hold. Furthermore, we are a small community of gamers that enjoy playing a variety of video games as well as running our own servers / websites. We are a fun and friendly group that is always looking to meet new people that are playing on one of our servers. We are wanting to turn Red Hat Gamers into a successful community that is dedicated to providing the best gaming experience possible on our game servers.
