The internet occasionally disconnects with the dedicated server, most likely due to the servers physical location. I could go into more details about it but it could go on and on. Having that said, I am considering moving the 7 Days To Die Server to a shared host with the same exact world as it is currently and using the server to start up additional game servers instead. By doing this it could help get new and different game servers up and going with very little upfront cost after internet and utilities. The shared host will run just as good as the dedicated server for 7 Days To Die, with the added benefit of reliability for the most part. Admins will also be able to restart the server on their own, if they ever need to do so. This game is early access so problems with the game will still occur regardless of what it is hosted on. I will be able to add several, low populated game servers on the dedicated server to be able to grow the community faster with little cost. If you support this idea, take our poll and suggest a new game server that you would like us to add to our server list and by doing so we may add it. Best Regards.

What do you think would be best for our 7 Days To Die game server, vanilla or modified?

Overall server performance wont be affected as much. However, in specific areas that have been built up very good and has over 30k blocks or more in one area, requires better graphic cards and more computer resources to render all of those blocks. Furthermore, since the server does not require graphics cards and instead only loads up just the file of that data and sends it to your computer, it wont be affected. If the entire world was built up and had big bases and homes everywhere then the server would lug down since it would have to send larger files of data but thankfully it hasn't come to that yet.

Vanilla. I mean some modded doesn't hurt as long as players know how to add in the modded materials EG: Fishing -- Huge mods like valmod etc will add a lot of extra materials that players will have to download etc to see/not complain on the full feature. But I think there is a way to add modified to the server that won't really hit the community negatively. I also think u admins should add into ur xml admin tools. Depending on your like its not a hard addition or intensive cpu wise. Now different modded as in stacks etc- ez - Id prefer that -- Change the weather- stacks of sizes u use etc ALOT BETTER then the pimps--
